Kitomba is compatible with MacOS and Windows
Kitomba works with most Windows and Mac operating systems and computers.
Please note: The Apple Magic Mouse is not compatible with Kitomba (the mouse that comes with Mac desktop computers).
Kitomba 1 is compatible on all mobile devices
Kitomba 1 works on all Android and iOS devices, including phones and tablets.
Kitomba 1 comes in the form of a web app, making it fast and seamless to use.

Computer requirements for Apple Mac’s
To ensure Kitomba runs efficiently in your business, here are our recommended and supported computer requirements.
Operating system
Processor
Apple M Series: We support all M series chips.
Intel i Series: Your processor should be i5 2.7 GHz or better. At a minimum Kitomba can work at i5 2.3 GHz.
Memory
You must have at least 8GB of RAM in your computer.
Available hard drive space
We recommend a hard drive space of 5GB however 1GB or 10% of total hard drive space is enough (whichever is higher).
Screen resolution
A screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels is recommended or a minimum of 1680 x 1050 pixels.
Screen size
To run Kitomba we recommend a 17-inch screen but Kitomba can function on a 15-inch.
Mouse
Any mouse that is connected by USB or USB wireless receiver. Please note, The Apple Magic Mouse is not compatible with Kitomba (this is the mouse that comes with Mac desktop computers).
Ports
You need a few ports to enable Kitomba’s success.
6 x USB ports. These are usually used for mouse, keyboard, barcode scanner, cash drawer, printer, EFTPOS and UPS power supply.
1 x Serial port may be required for EFTPOS integrations.
Note: USB hubs or multi-adaptors are often not compatible with hardware

To ensure Kitomba runs efficiently in your business, here are our recommended and supported computer requirements.

NETWORK
Internet requirements
We recommend an internet connection of 3 Mbps or faster connected via LAN. At a very minimum Kitomba can run on 0.8 Mbps.
Please note: 4G internet connections are not able to support running Kitomba on multiple computers. In order to run a remote Kitomba off-site, your router must support port forwarding.

Note: Kicking open a cash drawer through a receipt printer is not supported on Mac computers.
