Integrating Kitomba Online Booking with Google Analytics 4

9 Jun 2023 by Kitomba

Kitomba has integrated with Google Analytics 4. If you’ve never heard of it before, Google Analytics allows you to gain invaluable insights into the performance of your marketing campaigns and overall success of having an Online Booking site. You can easily track how many times people have visited your online booking site (known as page views) and how many people ended up booking an appointment (known as conversions) for your Kitomba Online Booking site.

If you’re still unsure if this is something you should be using, read on to learn how Google Analytics 4 can help your salon, spa or clinic, and how to get started.

What is Google Analytics 4 (GA4)?

GA4 is the latest version of Google’s analytics platform, designed to provide comprehensive insights into user behaviour, conversions, and marketing campaigns.

If you have set up Google Analytics on your Kitomba Online Booking site, you will need to switch to Google Analytics 4 (GA4) before 1 July 2023. When this change happens, if you want to automatically track and measure conversions for appointment bookings and deposits made through your Kitomba Online Booking site, there are a few steps you’ll need to take, which we’ll cover in more detail below.

Why use Google Analytics?

1. Get advanced client insights

Google Analytics 4 offers a wealth of information about your salon, spa or clinic’s online presence and how your clients interact with your website. It tracks and analyses your client’s behaviour across the internet, such as your website, online booking site, and social media channels.

For example, you can see where your website visitors are coming from, such as social media or other websites and sources, and what pages they visit and actions they take when they visit your website or online booking site.

This information is invaluable for being able to see the performance of your marketing campaigns and also for learning your client’s demographics, interests, and preferences. This allows you to understand your ideal clients better so you can tailor your services and marketing campaigns to them, resulting in improved results, satisfied clients and more bookings!

2. Conversion insights and event tracking

As mentioned above the most important aspect of tracking your prospective and current clients on your website and other platforms is that you want to see how they are turning into clients.

You will be able to see where your conversions (online bookings) are predominantly coming from, as well as which pages on your online booking site are being viewed the most.

With GA4 tracking your conversions you will be able to measure the success of your marketing efforts accurately, identify areas of improvement and implement data-driven strategies to enhance your salon’s sales funnel.

Events in Google Analytics refer to specific user actions on your digital platforms, such as booking appointments, completing purchases, or engaging with content. GA4 uses an event-tracking system, making it easier than ever to monitor and measure these actions. By defining and tracking custom events, you can gain insights into which activities contribute most to conversions, engagement, and client satisfaction.

One of the most exciting features of GA4 is its integration of machine learning and AI capabilities. The platform can quickly identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in clients’ behaviour, helping you uncover hidden opportunities and easily make data-backed decisions.
