Getting started with Online Booking

Online Booking is such a powerful tool for any salon, spa or clinic, and although we’re all being affected in different ways by the COVID-19 pandemic, there are a number of ways it can benefit your business at this time. 

We’ve put together some information and resources to help you get Online Booking set up, learn how to use it and get ideas on how you can start to take advantage of this tool.

Getting Online Booking set up

For those who are new to Online Booking, there are a few things you need to do initially to get set up:

  • Add your opening hours
  • Set up staff timetables
  • Check your staff capabilities and online booking availability
  • Organise your services and whether they’re available via online booking
  • Customise the look and feel of your online booking page
  • Configure and turn on online booking

Accepting and editing bookings

Now we want to ensure you know how to process bookings as they come in, so watch our short video to learn all about accepting and editing bookings. Remember you’ll still have total control over your appointment book. 

How to take advantage of Online Booking for your business

Although your business may not be open right now, there are a few reasons why Online Booking can still come in handy.

Show you’re unavailable

If you’re currently not operating your business, it’s a good idea to make yourself “unavailable” for bookings during this time. It’s easy to do – we covered it in the video above. 

Reschedule booked appointments

You’re bound to have lots of client appointments booked in for April, you can use Online Booking to reschedule these appointments.

Boost appointments when you re-open

As mentioned in the set up video, there are a number of ways to promote that you offer online booking. While you have some downtime, take the opportunity to do this so your clients can easily book an appointment with you when you’re open again.
