Automatic Sustainable Salons Fee

22 Nov 2018 by Kitomba

We’re excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Sustainable Salons so you can automatically add a Sustainable Salons Fee to your invoices. This feature will be released to all of our customers over the next couple of weeks.

It’s quick and easy to set up, and means you can collect the Sustainable Salons Fee without needing to manually add it to each sale.

Getting set up

  1. Go to Preferences in the Kitomba Admin tab.
  2. In the Invoicing tab you’ll find the new Sustainable Salons Fee feature.
  3. Select ‘Automatic surcharge’, give it the name ‘Sustainable Salons Fee’ and enter $2 as the amount.
  4. Each invoice that includes a service will have the fee automatically added to it.

  1. Hello, great to see Kitomba add this feature. Is it possible to exclude some services from this charge or is it applied across all services?

    Thanks

    Adam

    • Hi Adam, glad you love it! :) The automatic charge is added to any invoice where there’s a service. However you have the ability to manually remove the charge from invoices if you wish. From, The Kitomba team

  2. so superHAPPY EXCELLENT work Kitomba team

next one can you organise an automatic text message from cancellation list for clients to alert them of an opening on certain days they wish to book in on that times become available on fully booked days ?

    Thank you

  3. In the spirit of good communications, it would be great if you updated this blog, the online community or all customers when a feature like this has been rolled back/held off launching because of problems. Just saves us a lot of time and confusion.
