The story of “Kitomba”

Someone once said that Kitomba means Communication in Swahili. It turns out they were wrong. But we were already hooked, so we stuck with it… if you search hard enough, you’ll find it’s actually the short name of a plant (long name Caesalpinia hildebrandtii), and of a small city in the Democratic Republic of Congo! But at Kitomba the company our key inspiration isn’t in the name, it’s in our mission – improving the lives and businesses of those within the hair and beauty industry. Our industry.
