Business awards
Introduction
The Kitomba NZARH Business Awards are an annual event that recognizes top performing salons in New Zealand and is sponsored by industry leaders. Created to foster, encourage and celebrate business excellence plus help salons gain a better understanding of their businesses.
Kitomba runs the awards in collaboration with The New Zealand Association of Registered Hairdressers Inc (NZARH) - run by hairdressers for hairdressers. Their aim is to help members with advice and information for dealing with legal, insurance and employment issues, as well as everyday problems.
The Business Awards are part of the Industry Awards weekend in collaborating with HITO (Hairdressing Industry Training Organization).
2011 Awards
This year’s Industry Awards will take place at the War Memorial Museum's event centre in Auckland on 20th November 2011.
A truly spectacular venue for a truly spectacular event - situated above the Waitemata Harbour in the lush grounds of Auckland Domain, with its striking neo-classical architecture and majestic columns, the Museum is one of Auckland's premier event locations. The Awards will take place under the elegant copper dome on the roof of the Museum at the Lion Foundation Event Centre. This circular glazed space offers panoramic views across Auckland.
