Industry Awards gala dinner

The 2014 Kitomba NZARH Business Awards winners will be announced at the Industry Awards, Shed 6, Wellington on 9 November 2014. The Industry Awards gala dinner takes place in conjunction with HITO for the HITO Annual Awards and NZARH for the Patrick Cameron, Photographic, Editorial Stylist and Oceanic Hairdressing Masters Competition.

Judging Criteria

For numeric categories such as Boutique Salon of the Year, judges attach a weighting to each performance metric. These weightings are applied to all entrants of that category to produce the category winner.

 

For non-numeric questions and categories, such as Excellence in Marketing, judges score entries as follows:

Answers are concise and compelling: 30%

Entry includes results with evidence: 30%

Entry demonstrates unique ideas: 15%

Judges overall impression: 15%

Presentation: 10%

Kitomba NZARH New Zealand Salon of the Year

This award goes to the all-round best salon of 2014. To be considered for this award, entrants must enter L’Oreal Grand or Fudge Boutique plus Excellence in Marketing and Telecom Employer of Choice.

L'Oreal Grand Salon of the Year

This award is for salons with annual turnover exceeding $600,000. In this award judges are looking for a results driven business with all-round strong KPI’s.

H&B Boutique Salon of the Year

This award is for salons with an annual turnover up to $600,000. In this award judges are looking for a results driven business with all-round strong KPI’s.

Telecom Employer of Choice

Judges are looking for a clear workplace culture where staff feel nurtured, training is a priority and everyone wants to work for them.

Excellence in Marketing

Judges are looking for a business with a unique brand that demonstrates planning, innovation, creativity & results.

Wella Fastest Growing Salon

Judges are looking for a business that is in serious growth mode. Growth in revenue, client numbers, client spend and ultimately profitability.

Wella Sustainable Salon

Judges are looking for a business with sustainable practices that are an integrated part of their everyday business.

Schwarzkopf Business Stylist of the Year

Judges are looking for the business stylist that is consistent across all KPIs to deliver great service to their clients.

JustBookMe Best New Entrant
